Brochures History About us Supporters
Stortford Kickstart was formed in June 1994 by a group of unemployed people who wished to help themselves back to work. The group was led by a number of newly retired professionals and was supported originally by the Bishop’s Stortford Methodist Church and the Rotary Club of Bishop’s Stortford.

It became a registered charity in September 1998, under the name of the Kickstart Trust (Bishop’s Stortford) Ltd.

Since opening its doors, Stortford Kickstart has had some 6,000 attendances made by 1300 clients. The Trust is staffed by 14 volunteers.
